vintage reimagined
new stories from old treasures

from my studio
mixed media art ~ each piece is one of a kind
the art of rescue
reclaimed with intention

I'm drawn to things that have been discarded, or that are not typically considered beautiful ~ reclaimed wood, rusty objects, recycled books and vintage paper. I love the contrast between delicate floral papers or textiles and torn ephemera.
My roots go back to Miscou Island, New Brunswick, where my grandmother created her own designs for her hooked mats. That thread ~ memories held in materials ~ runs through everything I create.
let's create together
be good to yourself
I've spent over two decades researching creative practices and well-being, and many years teaching journaling and mixed media workshops. My mini-retreats are grounded in my training with Amherst Writers & Artists where no experience is needed.

rekindle that creative spark

The collage cards workshop was exactly what I needed to spark my creativity after a long lapse in not playing. Thank you. ~ Debbie
This was a beautiful workshop. You made learning collage not only fun, but also something I feel I can do at home. Can't wait for the next one! Thank you for all the work you put into this workshop and the collage bundle to take home. I can tell all the love and care you put into it. ~ Jasmine
gathered & curated
curious clippings, collage bundles & paper gifts

I've gathered vintage ephemera from estate sales and auctions, then it's cut, curated and bundled for your own creative projects. Rare ephemera is reimagined and reproduced in order to preserve these wonderful artifacts. Vintage and rust-dyed, lacey fabric bundles will be available soon.
Come find me at markets around Ottawa ~ there I will have collage prints, cards, ornaments, and more. Sign up for my newsletter to receive updates!

Your art spoke to me. I love your use of mixed media, the music, the words. I wanted to hang it in my home office so I could enjoy it every day. Thank you for sharing your beautiful art. ~ Christina
I am the proud owner of 'refuge', and honestly, it is so stunning. There is so much beauty in this piece. I feel lucky that I'll be able to look at this every day. ~ Emily
