I can't imagine creating a new collection without butterflies. They are symbolic of so much ~ transformation, hope, freedom, rebirth, creation...Possibilities.
MATERIALS: A salvaged book cover is the substrate of this piece. There are many layers of vintage papers, including eco-printed vintage sheet music. Gauze and a wooden button provide additional layers, as do acrylic and watercolour paints.
This piece could be propped up on a shelf, supported by a rock or a seashell. It could also be set on a mini easel (readily and inexpensively available at craft stores) or framed. Some very slight warping may be present as the substrate is a vintage book. This piece is finished with a matte varnish to ensure protection against fading, discolouration, and moisture. Avoid placing all artwork in direct sunlight.
Taxes are included in the list price
