I'm fascinated by the migration of butterflies. How is it possible that these tiny, beautiful creatures can survive such difficult journeys?
Rust dyed fibres and vintage text are featured in this collage, along with corrugated cardboard that's juxtaposed with Japanese paper.
In keeping with the reclaimed wood substrate, the sides are unfinished. This piece could be hung using a sawtooth hanger or adhesive strips, but its size means that it can be easily tucked in a little vignette almost anywhere ~ on top of a piano, on a bookshelf, or on your desk.
Signed on the back, this piece is finished with a matte varnish to ensure protection against fading, discolouration, and moisture. Avoid placing all artwork in direct sunlight.
