Whales symbolize creativity and the freeing up of creative energy. In a popular Korean drama, whales appear to the main character in moments of enlightenment, magically drifting in the sky or floating through her workplace. 'where you are' is about those fleeting moments of companionship.

 Materials: A layer of red polka dots and squares, along with a scrap of gift wrap, add something whimsical to 'where you are.' Bits from a mechanical manual also appear under the layers of acrylic paint and watercolour pencils.
