yesterday

I love visiting museums online, wandering and searching for open access images to use in my art. On one visit, I found a whole book of floral images from the 1500s. They seem both modern and old. The flowers and tiny beetle of 'yesterday' were saved from that trip.

Materials: 'yesterday' has light layers that allow the grain of the reclaimed wood to come through. Decorative papers and watercolour pencils, along with pan pastels, were also used.
