The best summer days are the ones when I have a bit of time to simply sit and watch the bees live their busy lives as the bounce from one flower to another.

Scraps of vintage paper, including sheet music, as well as a dainty floral paper, form a few of the layers of this piece. Acrylic paints and watercolour pencil are also part of this summery collage.

Round, but roughly cut, the circular pieces in this collection can be laid flat on a surface. Despite their shape, they will also stand on their sides. They could also be hung with a sawtooth hanger or poster strips as they are fairly lightweight. The sides are unfinished in keeping with the rough grain of the wood, with some of the paint and papers wrapped on the edge.

Signed on the back, this piece is finished with a matte varnish to ensure protection against fading, discolouration, and moisture. Avoid placing all artwork in direct sunlight.
