Do you have a favourite spice? It’s hard to choose just one, but cinnamon is always doubled in any recipe I make. cinnamon is perfect for a kitchen nook! This painting features an excerpt from a cookbook published in 1927. Each page includes recipes for a full dinner ~ from starters to desserts.

There are several other layers to this collage, one of which includes the flap from a vintage envelope. Watercolour pencils, acrylic paint, and Japanese papers add to the layers. The sides are unfinished, but the rooster’s tail is wrapped, along with other scraps of wrapped papers.

Signed on the back, this piece is finished with a matte varnish to ensure protection against fading, discolouration, and moisture. Avoid placing all artwork in direct sunlight.
