gifts of paper ~ seasonal card making workshop

join me for a cozy afternoon of paper and colour as we create a small collection of seasonal cards to gift or keep

You'll make 3 handmade cards with envelopes, plus 3 postcards that can be sent, tucked into a gift bag, or used as tags.

This is an in-person, 2.5 hour session at Mint & Honey https://mintandhoney.ca/ in Ottawa on Sunday November 1 from . Spaces are limited!

You will be provided with all the necessary supplies ~ an assortment of seasonal images printed on vintage papers, additional ephemera and decorative papers, as well as various embellishments. No need to bring anything! However, collage is always an individual process, so you are welcome to bring your own ephemera and trimmings.

Note: The cards pictured are samples to inspire your own designs. You'll have a variety of seasonal images and papers to choose from, so your cards will be uniquely yours.

Mint & Honey will provide a lovely tea break for us and you will have the opportunity to shop for additional collage bundles as well as items in the shop, if you wish.

As always, I will be available to answer any questions that might arise after our session together. At the end of our mini retreat, you will also receive an exclusive link to electronic resources.

The mini retreat includes:

• 3 blank cards with envelopes + 3 postcards and a selection of coloured mixed media paper
• a curated collection of vintage images and papers to choose from
• fine papers and textiles to select for embellishments
• use of studio tools & supplies ~ no need to bring a thing
• access to electronic resources, including tips, techniques, materials used
• tea and break provided by Mint & Honey

This mini-retreat is open to both beginners and more experienced creatives.

Mint & Honey’s refund policies will apply. There is a maximum of 8 participants for this workshop.

My registration and payment indicate that I have read and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Assumption of risk: I understand that workshops may involve the use of various materials and tools, and I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, or damage to personal property.

Release of liability: I release and discharge the organizer, its agents, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever, whether at law or in equity, arising out of or related to any injury, illness, or damage resulting from my participation in the workshop.

Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizer from any and all claims, liabilities, or costs arising from my participation in the workshop, including but not limited to legal fees, expenses, or claims made by third parties.

Emergency medical treatment: In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the organizer to seek medical treatment on my behalf.

Photography: I grant the organizer the right to take photographs during the workshop for promotional or educational purposes.
