This is one of a series of collages based on the paintings of ornithologist Louis Agassiz Fuertes. I have edited his images (copyright free) and collaged them with layers of Japanese papers, fibres, and vintage texts. Top layers include watercolour pencils and pastels. The substrate of this piece is an upcycled book cover. It could be framed, propped up, displayed on an easel, or mounted to a wall using poster hanging strips.

Signed on the back, this piece is finished with a matte varnish to ensure protection against fading, discolouration, and moisture. Avoid placing all artwork in direct sunlight.
